The first place to check with if you are visiting Bedford County is the Bedford County Visitors Bureau. This site will give you a lot of great information about our area. The friendly folks at the Visitors Bureau would be delighted to answer your questions, send you information, or just give you a few suggestions for touring historic Bedford County.

Bedford Springs Resort

Bedford Springs Resort is a nineteenth-century mineral springs resort located only a few minutes from downtown Bedford. After a $108 million dollar restoration project is completed, the facility is scheduled to reopen in July 2007.

Fall Foliage Festival

Bedford County's Fall Foliage Festival is organized entirely by volunteers, and draws an estimated 70,000 visitors to Bedford over both weekends. There are activities and entertainment for folks of all ages.

Bedford County Fair

The annual Bedford County Fair is an event allows families and friends to gather together and thoroughly enjoy themselves. The Fairgrounds provide a place where the old can let loose and become young again, if only for a few weeks. There are exhibitions of animals, demonstrations of skill, displays of artwork and plants, and, how could we forget, the rides.

Old Bedford Village

Old Bedford Village welcomes you to discover America's history. Our living history village brings the past into the present. Visitors of all ages will enjoy our military and civilian re-enactments, colonial crafts, exhibits and instructions, festivals, murder/mystery evenings, old fashioned Christmas celebrations and more!

Fort Bedford Museum

Old Fort Bedford was a British Stockade built in 1758 as part of the French and Indian War campaign against the French at Fort Duquesne. Travelers stopping in Bedford, PA have enjoyed visiting the historic and educational Fort Bedford Museum.
